Your Website

Your website isn't working like it should.

Your Website Isn’t Broken… But It’s Not Working Like It Should

You’ve got a website.
You’ve put time into it. Maybe even money.

But it’s not getting traffic.
It’s not bringing in leads.
It’s not doing what you thought it would do.

And now you’re wondering…

“Is it me?”
“Is it the site?”
“Is anyone even seeing this thing?”

Here’s the honest answer:
If your website isn’t being found, it can’t do its job.

Why You’re Not Getting Found (And What’s Actually Going On)

Search engines aren’t ignoring you on purpose.

They just don’t have enough reason to notice you yet.

Most websites struggle because they’re:

  • Outdated
  • Inconsistent
  • Unclear in their messaging
  • Missing the structure search engines (and people) are looking for

The good news?

This is fixable. And it doesn’t require you to become a full-time tech wizard.

What Actually Helps Your Website Get Seen

Let’s simplify this—because it doesn’t have to be overwhelming.

  1. Update your content. Remove or update what you have on every page of your website, and add new content regularly. What you currently have may be old, outdated information. By updating and adding new content, you will give your visitors a more valuable experience. As you’re updating, add new keywords and key phrases. Keep in mind that whenever you add new content, the search engine “bots” crawl your site again.

  2. Add regular blog posts. Consistently give your readers informative and relevant articles. Share tips, news, updates, and industry insights. Be the expert! Always encourage interaction and comments to encourage engagement.

  3. Service or Product Updates. Keep your visitors updated by providing accurate descriptions of your offerings, as well as availability and pricing. Remove outdated or discontinued products to keep your site fresh.

  4. Testimonials. Regularly update your testimonials. If you have a section that highlights testimonials, be sure to vary it as well. This will continue to build credibility for your products or services.

  5. News and Announcements. Create a News and Announcements page to share updates about your business. This can be awards, events, community involvement, or new partnerships. Be sure to add this information to your latest autoresponder as well.

  6. Be sure your website is mobile-friendly. According to Statista, 52.27% of website traffic is generated on mobile devices, excluding tablets.

  7. Update your design. Here’s a statistic you need to consider: 38% of people will stop engaging with a website if the content or layout is unattractive. Your visitors can become frustrated very easily. Make it functional and attractive.

  8. Add video. People will stop to watch a video. In fact, they will search it out. Training, how-to, DIY! They increase the amount of time they spend on your website, and if there is a clear call to action, they may buy from you!
